Contemporary Artists Forum is a group of serious artists from diverse backgrounds, who meet to discuss and critique their work in a supportive atmosphere.  C.A.F.E. XI, their current exhibition, celebrates the artists and the work that has evolved from their positive criticism.

The Contemporary Artists Forum

For Serious Artists
8 sessions - starting September 10th 2013

A critique group of artists working in various media come together to discuss their work,
current art issues, concerns and concepts. The group has an annual exhibition at Gallery 1978.
Registration is first come first served and is $50 for the 8 sessions.
Leader, Mikel Frank, holds an M.F.A. Degree from Pratt Institute and exhibits his work widely at various galleries.

Artist, Cynthia Weiss will be demonstrating and leading a workshop on Trace Monotype Printmaking. This is free and supplies will be provided.

Thursday Oct. 17, 7:30 pm

Artist and Film maker, Gerard Amsellem will introduce the film “Pollock” starring Ed Harris. Gerard will lead a post screening discussion

A $5.00 cover charge will be collected at the door to support the program.
